Get excited people!! How come no one is saying much!?? I was listening to Lost In The Translation today. Easily one of my favorite CDs EVER, and it always gets better every time I listen.

Jeffro, that bad johnny is a master piece!

I have six CDs in my car right now, and four of them feature Jeff. I have LITT, The ballads album, Talisman 7 and Jeff's covers album. LITT is usually the one that gets played, although the Talisman album is pretty cool too.

Well, I'll tell you what, another thing about LITT is not only does it never get old, but it just always seems to be better. Strange. I love it. That's a good album and good investment. I need to pick up the Japanese version just for the sake of having it.

Is it me, or has this year been a little down when it comes to new CDs? We've had a few with Talisman's release, Brother Firetribe, Wig Wam.....but I was looking at my CD collection yesterday, and noticed I haven't bought much from this year. There just hasn't been too many albums light my fire. I think 2007 will change that.

After doing some thinking I must agree with you Cris, not more than a handfull that popup right now:

Slamer - Nowhereland, I like this very much. You have to try this. If you like "Seventh Key" you will like this.
Paul Stanley - Live to win
Sunstorm - Sunstorm (JLT)
Talisman - 7

2006 was a thin year. Hopefully 2007 will be better.

Prism does it for me. But C2C is pretty hard to beat as a great compilation. I love T7 too. LITT was a pleasure to tour - audeinces loved it humongously. But for me the best live gigs were the acoustic ones - if only because I could hear on stage :)

However, I'd love to have a live Journey CD with JSS at the forefront. Bummer, why stop there - A live Queen Cd with JSS at the front too!

Carlo, Slamer is a GREAT CD. I'm not sure how much it appeals to the masses but I love it. Especially the song 'Come To Me'. Sunstorm.....eh.......it was okay. I like it, but it's not a CD that I would look to listen to all the time when I need some good tunes. But yeah - a thin year indeed.

You know what's great about Jeffery's music? He's so diverse. We all have music of his that appeals to us in our own way. That's the sign of a great artist with flexible styles. I just like the hard rocking edge of LITT, in fact, my favorite songs off of the album are the heaviers songs but from start to finish, I love the CD.

Good point Chris,

Jeff is definitely diverse! I never get tired of listen to him because there is so much variety in the styles of music he plays. If I was stranded on an island with only one CD though, I think it would have to be........hell, I can't just pick one!!! Anything with JSS!!! :D

The ONLY type of music I would never want to hear Jeff sing is country!! LOL! I just couldn't imagine him in a cowboy hat and boots!

Hey Uncle!
How are you doin?! I just said to Carlo that Queen fits Jeff even better than Journey. I like Journey and Jeff only makes it better, but Jeff doing the Queen-stuff.....I would love that! At the moment my favs are SoulSirkUS and T7. The best of Jeff you can catch (together with some sweat) is when you're are just close enough to the stage where you can touch him. I go crazy every time that happens!
So, I hope to see you in March, Cardiff and/or Bournemouth, sill can't get you that promised birthdaycake, but some stroopwafels must be possible!

Hold on... there is a vid where Jeff's wearing some pretty white cowboyboots... I think it's the I am a Viking video with Yngwie. I always feel a little embaressed when I see Jeff with those boots on, lol! Talking about way back in time!
