What songs do NR fans want to hear live?

Postby Metal Ed » Wed Aug 18, 2004 2:57 pm

The last time I saw them they did nothing past 7 wishes(besides a couple DY songs). I would have liked to hear songs from the whole catalog(even ... Mojo). What do you want to hear?

Neverland
Man in Motion
Reason to be
peace sign
Music Box

From Seven, I'd like Sign Of The Times, Panic In Jane, Don't Ask Me Why, Soul Survivor.

From Neverland, I'd like Slap Like Being Born, Forever All Over Again, New York Time.

I`d just like to see them live in concert.

I could be wrong but the last time they played in England was on the 7 Wishes in 1985 and it was possibly supporting Foreigner.
Unfortunately for me it wasn`t on the night I saw Foreigner, that night I think it was Terraplane.

So anything played live is a bonus.

"As Always I Remain" is the greatest NR song ever and would have been a #1 if it'd been released in the 80's...it would have rivalled Sister Christian in popularity. Shame, really.

I am ok with COming of Age. Sounds like a Night Ranger song anyways. Honestly, they only play two Damn Yankee songs and most of the time just play one of them. Never was a fan of High Enough though. Night Ranger has enough quality ballads of their own. Coming of Age on the other hand does really get the crowd going.

No Mojo songs. Please.

As for Man in Motion, I guess they could play come songs. But the two most popular songs they have never played live even on the Man in Motion Tour. I don't think the guys are fond of those two songs: I Did It For Love and Restless Kind. They are the best in my opinion but Night Ranger was fighting the ballad reputation at the time. They did not write I Did It for Love so that is probably why they don't like it.

I would like more than anything to hear more Big Life songs. I remember seeing them on that tour and really enjoyed them doing: Secret of my Success, Big Life, Hearts Away, Color of YouR Smile, Rain Comes Crashing Down and Love is Standing Near live. They also managed all the hits.

But I have to say Night Ranger does a really good job mixing their songs. It's not like I have the opportunity to see them a couple times a year so I want to see them play the hits.
