Goddammit Abs, we NEED a Bryan Adams Board.

He is simply the best AOR Melodic star on the scene.

OOOHHHH, Bryan Adams.

Picked up a good BA boot a few months back, off the reckless tour, recorded in Hollywood.-ERIC

I'm not sure that Asia are worthy of a forum - but I've never understood why there isn't one for Foreigner.

ASIA DO DESERVE A FORUM

Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, John Wetton, Geoff Downes and the other members who have been with the band are quality musicians

I love Foreigner but Asia deserve a forum just for the quality of band members alone.

Asia, with John Payne, put out massive qualities of very thoughtful, amazing, comprehensive, and sophisticated music in the past 15 years. Their work with Payne outshone anything they did with the Big Four. What has Foreigner done since the early 90's? One album? Without Gramm, they're a tribute band.

Payne outshone anything they done with the big four ?

Seen Asia in 2005 three times with Payne and apart from 2 songs they played music from the first 3 Asia albums ......

Says alot that Payne even recognises that the classic Asia is far better than the stuff he recorded with them...

Comparing Payne to Wetton is like comparing Lemmy to Steve Perry.

Oh and Kelly Hansen is awesome, if you have not seen this version of Foreigner live you do not know what you are missing ...... loved Lou Gramm but his voice is shot.

Asia without Wetton, Palmer and Howe were just a tribute band.

You haven't listened to any of their new stuff, obviously. "Aura" and "Arena" BLOW AWAY Alpha and Astra. Right out of the water. Downes' maturation as a songwriter between 1983 and 1993 was astronomical.

7 wishes -Shooting Star- There is no more Foreigner, Styx, Journey, Survivor . Damn these guitarists and their jealousy of the singer ! Unless the singer wanted to leave like Peter Cetera, they are history. That means they will NEVER get in my wallet ever again !
