Redemption is a great band. Their album "The Fullness of Time" is one of my favorite prog-metal albums...

Welll, I think Sean (Socratic Methodist) may have a broader collection than I do.

Nah.....I think we are just about equal, Dave......you pull some stuff out of nowhere sometimes....lol

I'm more strict within genres.....you seem to like more within certain areas.....

We do love our music though, don't we?

What I'm wondering now is could Jeff be the premier vocalist in the business today? :|

i'd say that was a possibility....:-)

I would say no....He may have been THE hardest working before his Journey stint. He was on everything. Always working.

I'd say the premier vocalist today is Danny Vaughn.

He still is working but I also appreciate the talents of Danny, he just has an amazing voice. I aslo think for being an elder statesman of ROCK Klaus Meine has a phenominal Voice too...
For me it's not about how much work but the clarity of what I hear :-)

Yeah, I can't WAIT for the new Scorps CD. The song Humanity is fantastic, and the other clips I heard are very solid. Plus Drew gave it a great review. It comes out on August 28th.

What a fine album this is.It's truly amazing how they managed to reinvent themselves after all these years and come out with something so fresh.
Well,it has Desmond Child written all over it,so no wonder. However,Meine makes it special,he's still GOT it!

Can't wait for this CD myself. It's definitely one of the best releases in the last few years.

Do it is well worth it, Uli Joh roth joined them on the stage and they played some of the old calssics alongside the newer stuff...he is excellent guitarist too, puts me in mind of hendrix when he plays, you know the noises he gets out of that guitar :-)
