MERCHANDISE - PLEASE READ & REPLY

Postby Andrew » Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:45 am

A question to everyone – please post your thoughts so I can attempt to get some kind of feedback in regards to MelodicRockFest merchandise.

Naturally I am planning to do some merch, so here are the ideas thus far.

T-Shirt – I think I will do 2 different ones at this stage – a regular MR.com shirt (2 sided full colour) and a special event shirt for MRF (2 sided full colour).
I am hoping to also do Caps – probably the 1 basic one.
I am also considering a long sleeved event shirt and also a Ladies T.

Also on sale will be MelodicRock.com CDs Volume 2 (special re-pressing), Volume 3 and the brand new Volume 4.
www.melodicrock.com/cd/
www.melodicrock.com/cd/mrcd2.html
www.melodicrock.com/cd/mrcd3.html

Questions –
Who is interested in buying merch, and does the above suit those needs?

Is there anything else that I should have? Someone suggested an event program, which would be easy for artists to sign. Not sure if I have the time and resources to get that done properly.

Do let me know….as the feedback will in some way determine how many are made and how many CDs I bring over.

And lastly there will be a special raffle on the day - $5 a ticket with about 5 major prizes (signed stuff) and some smaller items (like CDs) also…details soon, but I hop for the small price of a ticket and temptation of some killer prizes, folks will get involved with that also.

Over to you all -

I think some general MR.com merch is good to have on hand. Shirts and hats. Will the bands also be selling merch?

I think a blue melodicrock shirt with the site logo is something I would purchase for sure.

I definitely want a t-shirt, Andrew. Not much of a hat wearer, but I would buy a visor (especially since I left mine in Roanoke this weekend! )

The programs and raffle sound like a great idea too. Will the performers be available to us to sign the programs?

I think everything sounds great. I think the CDs will be fabulous. I definitely want shirts and caps. I'd love a ladies T because the men's variety isn't all that flattering on me. I do wear them though. I like the program idea too.

As far as artist merch, what's Jeff sellin'? Image

Sounds good Andrew. I'd buy an MR tshirt and the raffle sounds great too. Also hoping there will be JSS tshirts with the trademark diamond logo. :)

Maybe I can help with that,Andrew. My work line/business allows me to do this.
I've worked on event programs before and I'd be happy to help.Absolutely free of charge.
If you could PM me some details about how would you like them to look like/how many would you need, please do.

Would be great to have them at the show and after that as a nice memory of the event. :)

As it stands now- I can't make the show :( , But I'd love to buy a MR shirt and the CD.
Are you planning on letting those of us that can't be there get a chance at any of the merch????

How about a commemorative T-shirt design that says "MelodicRock Fest 2007 - South Bend, Indiana" and has the logos or names of all the bands/artists that participate in the event? That would be a cool collector's item to own!! 8)

Like the idea of long sleeve shirts - can you get it in girl sizes? Otherwise, definitely a girl t-shirt with the MR concert stuff on it.
