JEFF SCOTT SOTO

Postby TheBrain » Mon Aug 06, 2007 7:27 pm

Need some advice .
I'm ca late bloomer Jeff Scott SOTO fan ,in other words ,I am reliving my youth and getting back into music etc and came across Jeffs music, some of it and I want to get into his music, he appears to have done a lot of work in various bands ETC
List me what you think are his best records and best songs .So I can dig it all up .

I asked the same thing just a few weeks ago! LOL! The gist of the answers was to buy them alphabetically because there is SO MUCH to Jeff's catalog....

Seriously I can vouch for these so far:

Lost in the Translation
Essential Ballads
Prism
Live at the Gods - 2002

I'll be working on Talisman CDs next

Good luck - have fun!

Good first choices Kim, I agree. If I had to pick one to buy first, it would be Lost In The Translation (back to back great songs). I've got all his solo stuff and working on the Talisman now too. You forgot the JSS/Queen cd and dvd, that's a must have.
