The show was great. On a personal level, I was VERY disappointed that I didn't hear Medicated, Ghost Of Me and Broken, but I understand the need to play songs everyone knows. It was a Halloween party and being such, I'm sure they realized the need to keep the audience singing along. A+ in that regard. Keith was visibly tipsy, and aside from playing the show half naked (for a 5-8 song stretch he wore nothing but boxers :shock:

) he sounded FUCKING AWESOME. He really did. The band kept the audience's attention the entire show. Sitting toward the back I can honestly say that everyone had a blast. There were just as many people there at the end of the show as the beginning.

As far as all of this "laptop" bullshit goes I'll say this. Keith Semple was 100% live...no mistaking that. He ripped every song he played. The dude worked his ass off. Yes, you could hear the backing vox kick in on the choruses of the originals (and they sounded fuckin' great), but you could also hear the guys singing their hearts out. 7th Heaven doesn't hide shit. Never have. They are what they are. If you don't like the fact that they use technology a bit, don't fuckin' go. Me, I'll continue to enjoy a great live act that knows how to jam, play songs people wanna hear and originals that are as melodic with huge choruses as any band that had megastardom in the 80's. All that for a few dollar cover charge? Unbeatable.

Thought I should also meantion that Keith is a pretty good drummer. He played drums on about 6 or seven songs. Did a nice job too.
