NY/Long Island AOR/Hard Rock Musicians - let's DO something!

Hey folks, I'm sick of the slacker crap grunge, the rap-influenced shit, the gazzillion omnipop cover bands, the wedding gigs...I'm just sick of it.


So the idea is to put something together that rocks...I don't even care what the hell it is. If it's a tribute band, fine. A hard rock cover band...fine....wanna do originals? That's fine too. I don't care. Playing aor/hard rock in any form is better than playing 99% of the shit that's out there for a bajillion people.


I'm a guitarist/singer...Heavily influenced by EVH, Schon, Beach, Sykes, Gillis, you get the idea.

I'm open to pretty much anything...I just need to play with people that 'get it'...

Don't worry pal!

Over here in Germany it is even harder to find musicians
that want and can(!) play REAL Rock music that is timeless.

It is really a shame.

Some advice

They are out there
take a trip to the city or even local (where on LI?)

Go down to Bleecker St not weekend as that's prime time & mostly already established
weekday jams attract alot of musicians
& its more likely they will be not with a band
so get out & listen
see who you meld with
got to start making contacts
get the word out that way

they aren't all on you tube reading the internet waiting for Neal to discover them
