Face it John, you wanted Palin to fail miserably. She did not, and that makes you mad.

Fox News? Puhleaze.

Biden might've made some poor statements, but there's no way you can say that either of them "won" the debate. It was a dog and pony show, nothing more. They both need to get away from their catch phrases though. If I hear Maverick one more time, I'm gonna puke.

It's also interesting to note that in the FoxNews forums, most people who viewed Palin being the winner did so using one-liner comments whereas those who thought Biden won gave their reasons.

Biden won. Palin held her own and was composed, but so much was talking points, wouldn't answer the question. She is not qualified to be President should anything happen. Sorry, but I think Biden was excellent. McCain made a mistake. He will lose this race on choosing her. He should have chosen Romney.

Thus, my assertion that chosing Palin was the best thing McCain did for this country :D

Gotch ya (as Sarah Palin would say.) I had wondered if that's what you meant by that post earlier, Grimlocked.

Does it matter that he lied? I guess not if people don't look into it. Unfortunately, Palin doesn't have the knowledge in her head to call him out on it and nail him to the wall. It's so interesting to me how the tickets are exactly flipped. Obama is the young, inexperienced talking point memorizer on his side and Biden is the older more knowledgeable one and it's the reverse on the Republican ticket.

Barb said, "Unfortunately, Palin doesn't have the knowledge in her head." At least, we agree on that. :D

On issues I agree with Obama regarding the war, healthcare. I believe in him more than McCain on handling the economic crisis we're in. And McCain's temperment is beginning to trouble me, truthfully. That's why I'm voting the Obama/Biden ticket. I appreciate that others with differing views on those issues will vote McCain/Palin. I respect their decision. I've made mine.

Liberals take a paragraph to say something, conservatives take one sentence. Okay... look at what they're referred to as, liberal means excess, conserve means to save. Kind of explains itself, huh? Moderates just make random statements poking fun at both. :D

Ahh, yes.
The current or one time TV home of Michael Savage, Anne Coulter, Monica Crowley, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Joe Scarborough.
How very liberal indeed.

Yeah, they're so conservative that they put Olbermann in as an anchor briefly...and I mean BRIEFLY.

You can't be this dumb. I'm not talking about the people on the opinion shows but their news division and shows where the anchor is SUPPOSED TO BE unbiased.

Interesting article on a survey done by Economist.com about the candidates' economic policies (using professional economists as respondents). You may not agree with the results, but it's still a good read...

I didn't say they were Conservative.
And for the most part, as a Convention anchor, Olbermann's editorializing was slim to nil.
No worse then Brett Hume, the convention anchor over on FOX, who, though better then most, is not apolitical by any stretch, .
Even the act that cost Olbermann the job was stating a basic truth - the Repubs have politically profited from 9-11 and continue to do so.

The anchor roster is and always has been Andrea Mitchell, David Gregory, Tom Brokaw, and Tim Russert.
All of which are pilloried for being libs whether the truth bears it out or not.
Except Russert who the Repubs posthumously admitted was fair.
Olbermann was handed convention coverage because they are special nights and he is the highest rated show and NBC wants to make money.
Big deal.

Outside of the WMD "lie" (which was based on foreign and US intelligence) what are you basing this on?

If Sarah Palin says MEDIA ELITE, WASHINGTON ELITE, or MAVERICK one more time, I'm going to . . . . . .
She was on Fox complaining about Katie Couric and complaining about the "media elite" and "Washington elite." Oh, great, her new buzz words for when she doesn't want to answer a question.

Enigma, I saw that on Letterman the other night. That was too funny -- or, wait, that was really too sad because it was true, but in a funny way. :(
