Goddammit, this band was once pretty damned great. Under Perry, they put out solid efforts, hit singles, and great live shows. Now, under president Schon(notice I didn't say King, as that is Pineda's label right?), they have resulted in a band that puts out shitty efforts(Generations, Red 13, Eclipse), taped concerts, with full band and manager knowledge, and absolutely NO peer respect. And you fans wonder why Rolling Stone and Billboard hates them? Why the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame won't give them a sniff? You wonder why Steve Perry wants nothing to do with them?

I agree that Jon would be wise to start distancing himself from Neal from this point forward. I've always respected Neal the guitarist (although his live playing has degraded into a wank/noodle-fest the last couple years) but any respect I held out for Neal the person is gone. IMO if your going to send a picture of your unit to someone you had better be hung like an elephant during mating season in Africa! Otherwise... leave your junk out of photographs.

But according to Schon's reps, the story is much more complicated: "Neal has received menacing texts messages over the past couple weeks from a person he has never met, telling him that he was in possession of Neal's stolen phone and threatening to release the photos. Apparently this person decided to carry out his threats."

But Schon isn't taking the invasion on his privacy laying down. His rep confirms that he has hired counsel and is "taking immediate legal action against all parties involved in this matter." The rep also makes it clear that the photo has not at all derailed the relationship between Schon and Salahi, the PDA pair are still going strong.

"It is sad that ex-girlfriends, ex-wives and ex-husbands cannot move on with their lives and are apparently using every effort to squeeze money out of Neal purely out of jealousy and greed," the rep continued. "As a note to their fans, Neal and Michaele are doing great and are very much in love."
