Hi!

Can u tell me a bit about it?

Thanks!!

JV

Big east coast band, huge in Long island, New york

Is this the band with Randy Jackson (Not the bassplayer/AI guy...Dog!).....if so I did some shows with him early 2000's.....

JV

Yup, that's them. Randy is one of my favorite musicians. I love all of their albums, but 3.V has the most mainstream appeal. Probably hard to find now, it came out in 1986. Maybe it's on Grooveshark or Spotify?

Joe....

I agree with 1 and 2.....I had WSC at 99.....but close enough....Kansas I will go back and listen....I did a whole album with Steve Walsh....

JV

Joe, have you had a chance to go back and listen yet? If not the whole album, check out "The Bells of St. James" and "Once in a Lifetime" as great examples...The opening track, "Ghosts" is also a haunting little number that should be in a rock opera. Steve Walsh kills these songs.

What albums in the past 15 years would you rate 100?

Postby Joe Vana » Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:49 pm

In other words they would stand side by side with Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, ac/dc ect.....

Mecca - Mecca may be the only album where every song on the album is in my 'Best' playlist. No small feat...
