Wonder Woman's origins are that of a World World II hero but in Wonder Woman, they set the film for WW1, which was a wise change on Jenkins' part. The story was more personal and everything tied into the 'War to End All Wars' seamlessly to what the DCEU is telling with their hero's, especially the origin side of things and how it is set up to come full circle. We'll see what they decide on as far as time period is concerned for Wonder Woman 2 and have those loose ends tied up. Justice League will probably touch upon some of those things.

she's been here being a heroine for the past 70something years and nobody knows of her outside of 1 photo Wayne obtains from the war?

Two words: Lex Luthor. Though Diana fought in the war, during that time period, there was no trace of a Wonder Woman existing other than what was left on the battlefield. The only true piece of evidence was that photo and Lex got his hands on it.

Diana's naive nature fooled her into thinking her kind could change a man's world until she harshly came to the realization that no matter how powerful and mighty, Gods shouldn't interfere with man's creation. Instead, she went back into hiding but only as a silent protector, always keeping tabs on humanity until the day a larger threat loomed. She could have went back to Themyscira during the events that took place in Man of Steel, only to trace her lost photo back to Gotham during BvS in the modern day.

In BvS, the only existence of Steve Trevor was taken from her (brilliant and emotional tie-in) by Lex, which brought her back just in the nick of time to fight alongside Supes and Bats vs Doomsday and witness Superman's sacrifice that would convince her that standing alongside man has a purpose and that humanity is still good. Superman's selfless sacrifice in a fractured world paved the way of the modern hero and showed Bruce and Diana (two distant crime fighters/warrior's stemming from the past and personal loss) what it truly means to be a hero in the face of an imperfect world. Men are still good and their purpose is to serve and protect no matter the circumstances, especially with the threat of Darkseid looming and I'm sure Diana knows ALL about Apokolips as we know Themyscira was attacked or is GOING to be attacked by Darkseid and his forces.

The DCEU train keeps on rolling. Shazam! is the next DCEU film going into production and has found its director: David. F Sandberg. Shazam! was originally slated for a April '19 release. It looks like it will hit its targeted slated date. Speculation is that Shazam! will tie into Man of Steel 2, which could bring in The Rock's Black Adam so that's something to potentially monitor.

Shazam! Finds Its Director In David F. Sandberg
When asked if he was working on something he could talk about he said "Shazam." Smith was caught off guard, and quickly asked him how far along he was. "It's coming along pretty well," said Sandberg. "I'm very happy with the script and how it's all coming along so it's super exciting."

"Superman was a beacon to the world . He didn't just save people. He made them see the best parts of themselves."

He did? For all 20 minutes that people knew he existed in this movieverse?

Btw, you're wrong. BvS is set 18 months after the events of MoS. I think that's longer than 20 minutes.

You know how in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Pierce mentions Iron Man has to come mingle at a party, as a favor, which means he's obviously back in action after the ending of Iron Man 3, and...

Oh, never mind.

‘Justice League,’ ‘Walking Dead’ Among Most Tweeted Topics at Comic-Con

Marvel’s pantheon of offerings was pushed out by DC’s “Justice League” as the most-tweeted about movie, followed by “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Kingsman.” Warner Bros. released an SDCC-exclusive “Justice League” trailer, which may have prompted the tweets.

Dude, do you not know how to spell antennae?

Wonder Woman grossed more domestically than GOTG2. That means WB will collect more for it when everything's finalized. Studios get less from overseas receipts. But you know that, don't you?
