All the Way (Christian Version)

He made you and you pull away,
It hurts when He sees you hestitate,
Mistakes you've made you wish you could take them back,
GOD says it's not too late to repent...

Speak your heart and GOD will listen,
Don't hold back He'll find what's missin',
He'll take you all the way,
Close your eyes and think forever,
If you believe, you go to heaven,
He'll take you all the way

Sifting through the memories of your faith,
Looking back at troubles Jesus helped you escape,
Do not leave behind what so few have found,
Faith ain't always easy...

so...

Speak your heart and GOD will listen,
Don't hold back He'll find what's missin',
He'll take you all the way,
Close your eyes and think forever,
If you believe, you go to heaven,
He'll take you all the way

He'll take you all the way!
He'll take you all the way!
From the sin that comes between trust,
From faith and love and where GOD leads you,
He'll take you all the way!

Jon's next album will be called Jon's Journey into a State of Grace,
re-workings of all the classic hits with Christian lyrics.
kinda like Perry did with this,

Aren't those the same lyrics in every christian rock song?

Always thought 95% of the lyrics in Knowing that you love me could have been a Christian song.
Especially the Chorus.

You lift me up if I should fall
Showing me love
When I was blind to it all
I face the fire and I stand tall
Knowing that you love me

Still will never understand the creepy (maybe not so much if not a song about Christ-Yeah it would be cool to see the Christ, but I would not want or deserve to hold him) I wish I could go back to the your when born and hold you.
If given a poll how many guys wanna go back and hold their wife when she was a baby?????

I wonder if it WAS truly a Christian song and Jon added the two lines

And how we danced
And the way that we touched

to make it more ambiguous

I know the song Hold on by Kansas was about Christ, and much to Kerry Livgrens protest, Walsh added the Hold on to me baby at the end, making it seem more like a relationship song.

geez... this REALLY needs to blow over. ugh.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

It's weird but I got goose bumps reading the lyrics. :)

Now we just need Perry to step up before he's dead. Time is friggin tickin'.
