Agree.
Neal strikes me as a real "heart on his sleeve" kinda guy, especially about his music. He's never lived a "normal-person" kind of adult life, and (IMHO because he's such a musical savant) when he discusses creating with someone like Perry... it comes out of him in an almost asberger-like fashion.
Music for Neal is like a dog with food.. he just can't stop eating, can't help himself. It's what makes him such a gifted musician, but also what offends some folks.
I think this gets lumped in with his other stuff... and a bit misconstrued.
