There's a weekly vote which will be calculated on Friday's for the weekend video line up on VH1.

Rock On Video.....

Postby I Am Canadian » Sat Jul 01, 2006 2:15 pm

Well it looks like a lot of people are requesting ther Rock On video because it is #14 on VH1......up 3 spots from last week.

The single Rock On is #26 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.

In Canada, for some reason 20th Century Boy is getting radio airplay, not Rock On....althought there is no video for it. The Radio Records and Airplay Chart has 20th Century Boy with 110 plays, 6 stations playing it and 1 add.....

Yeah! is #115 in the US album chart, #80 in Canada after 5 weeks.

Rock On!

Postby I Am Canadian » Fri Jul 07, 2006 12:57 pm

And it looks like the rise of Rock On on VH1 and Billboard Mainstream rock has led to an increase in sales of Yeah! in the US this week...sales up 14% (9400 copies sold this week). They're #105 in the Billboard 200 after 6 weeks, up 10 spots from last week.

In Canada Yeah! moves down 6 spots to #86 after 6 weeks.

Rock On video up another 3 spots to #11 on VH1.....remarkable considering all the crap that's played on the program.....

Yeah! drops to #112 in the US...out of the Canadian Top 100 albums after 6 weeks....

The tour with Journey is a huge success, however, they sold out last night in Charlotte, North Carolina, 19,850 fans....major Lepp/Journey country......also sold out in Atlanta.....7,000 fans.....played to 8,000 fans in Tampa...not a sellout....

Rock On!

Postby I Am Canadian » Sun Jul 23, 2006 3:03 am

The Rock On video is has moved up to #7 on VH1 this week....I can't remember any video since Hysteria to make it that high...maybe Two Steps Behind?

Rock On is now being played in Canada at muchmoremusic.com and you can vote for that too on their website.

According to Radio and Records Airplay Chart, under Canadian Rock New and Active, 20th Century Boy continues to get airplay, 100 plays, 6 stations playing it.

Yeah! is at #131 on the Billboard 200 after 8 weeks.

Does anyone know how many copies of YEAH! has been sold to date?

I'm just curious to see if the VH1 airplay of "Rock On" and the current tour is really helping CD sales that much. I know that Def Leppard are selling out amphitheaters this summer, but they're not really promoting the new album very much during the show.

In the USA, Yeah! has sold 120,000 copies plus after 8 weeks...don't know about anywhere else. Yeah! dropped for the first 6 weeks rose 10 spots the next week, then dropped again. Rock of Ages, their greatest hits fell out of the top 200 last week!
