Its a shame, it really is. The amount of talent that the man had, has....where is it?
He looks horrible. I hope that he can get his act together...but from the interview that Andrew did with Sammy...it doesn't sound too good.

Don't hold your breath on the Van Halen tour with Roth. Eddie couldn't keep his shit together on tour (last time out) with a level-headed Sammy. How's he gonna' do it with an off-the-wall Roth? It might happen...you can never say "never". They might start a tour...but could they finish it? The problem is, it should have happened years ago. I'm afraid the time for a REALLY ass-kickin' VH reunion is gone.

No shit! Very well said. If Sammy couldn't manage Eddie on the road, nobody could. Sammy is a peacemaker and a businessman. He brought Eddie on the road because his fans were begging him to. Sammy likes to give his fans what they want. But to be honest with you, now that I have seen Eddie's condition, I wouldn't pay to see him again. Not unless he got cleaned up. If Eddie toured with Roth, it would be a fucking circus. That's one freak show I would have no interest in seeing.

Eddie has turned into an old drunk that you would see on the street.He will not be satisfied till he has destroyed his life. You see my oldest brother died that way and it is not a pretty death.He turned bright orange due to his liver not working and the last time I seen him he had a longe tube coming out of his rectum with blood in it and a tube to catch all the blood coming from his kidneys.Sure Eddie's pitiful but what a waste to surround yourself with people that don't give a shit.He is one of the best guitarist in the USA!Hopefully someone that is close to him will read this and maybe even him, for God's sake get help before it's too late!

That ain't no shit dude. I'd hate to see what kind of like-father-like-son crap that kid is going to inherit. But, it's probably not much worse than what Eddie inherited from his dad. They say this stuff passes from generation to generation. I know - my own dad was a raging alcoholic who ruined our family. I stopped drinking myself, and it was the best decision I ever made. I have no intention in passing that disease on to anyone. Life is much better off without it. Of course, I have no problem with anyone who drinks socially. But if it is affecting your kids in a negative way - that's totally uncool.
