well, steve clark never really wrote complete songs....more of a riff guy. Mutt Lange has written and produced with DL since Steve died.

also, it's been 21 years since Hysteria was released...they are still selling albums, still releasing new music, still doing sold out shows, still doing world tours...... 30 years later.

Steve Clark would have been nothing without the song writing of the rest of Def Leppard.

Do you think Pyromania and Hysteria would have sold as well if they were released today? not likely....

DL is my favorite band but man if you talk any smack on them, which they deserve alot, the drones get all over you with the double standards. Def Leppard can take a dump in a CD case and there are some who would just say it was fantastic.

Look, any band with a big back catalogue is going to play their hits and songs off their best selling albums....what is wrong with a bit of nostalgia anyway? I certainly don't think everything they've released has been good - I don't particularly like 'Slang' or 'X' for that matter, but I tell you this - if I'd released albums like 'Pyromania' and 'Hysteria' I would be playing the FUCK out of those albums live!!

SFTSL is not bad and I'm looking forward to hearing some of those tunes live, as well as the classics!
