Good new LA bands?

I'm tired of the crappy LA bands. Where are the good ones? I wanna take my girlfriend out to hear some good songs!

I would say Hypnogaja is the best new rock band I've heard in years. There are a few others of course, like RUE, Level, and Carbon 9, but you can count the good ones like these with one hand. These are my favorite bands because they have original songs.

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION!!!!

Sure 2 of the band members are from well known 80's rock bands ... but together nikki sixx and tracii guns have done something NEW and are bringin back some decent RAWK N ROLL!!! I recon brides of destruction kick a*se ....i've heard theyre an AWESOME live band too...

I play in a classic/melodic rock band called Silvertown and we're playing at the Wilde in Chatsworth this Saturday and Friday the 18th. If you come I think you will be very satisfied - there are some really excellent musicians, and we really do thesongs justice. Hope you make it, Dave.
