Gawwwwd.......one show I wish I could have been at!! Thanks a bunch Pammy! The guys are sounding and looking great! Arrrg........have to wait until July to see EM perform and this winter to see JSS perform.
I know these two each have their different bands in South America and at home, but almost looks like EM should borrow JSS's band over there.......looks like he's trying to get his to step it up more than once. LOL, mind you I guess when you are used to playing with Billy and Paul.........
And, is that BJ with the dark hair now? Was watching the Madrid concert again the other day and damn those 2 sound great vocally together........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emiz-MBZ0e0

Comes Down Like Rain, really? Damnit and no one caught on vid. Bummer!
But have to say I absolutely love seeing these two share a stage anytime/anywhere! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUatFIPQkPk
Great setlist! Love seeing Soul Divine and Eyes Of Love in the setlist. Hmmm, maybe someday we'll see Dulce Lady appear on a setlist too. One of my daughters favorite's too, if LITT is on in the car, she skips it to that song first.

Hey, is the little guy singing with JSS one of his old band mates? I went online, I see the name Mr. Big, okay is that his band or was JSS in Mr. Big? I know you all are going, "good lord!" I'm not knowledgeable about rock and metal. Anywhoo, wow what a talent, Eric has a powerful voice for a little guy, my goodness!
Okay, to prevent anyone from pulling out their hair I will do more research on Eric Martin when I get back from the gym. If someone responds before I return I would love a link from that song Eric sings about "...cry like a little girl."

Lorrie, you're too cute........LMAO, the "little guy" is the one that is to my right in my sig. Two of my absolute favorite working vocalists! To say I was absolutely thrilled to be standing between those two for a pic (taken by Kip Winger yet ) is an understatement. Eric Martin is the vocalist for Mr Big (newly re-united after almost 15 years). Eric and Jeff have never been in the same band, I think they are just good friends/musical peers. They both have solo bands also and play alot overseas (you know, where people still love good ol' rock and roll ) so their paths have probably crossed many times. That "....cry like a little girl" lyric comes from Mr Big's hit 'Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy' or otherwise called 'The Drill Song'.......cuz as you can see in the chorus they were the first band to ever play a bass and guitar solo with electric drills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OD-C-oS--xQ
Let me save you the research, here is few EM solo and Mr Big clips.......and yes he does have a fabulous strong voice too. He/Mr Big also have their own forum here if you want to check out other song links. Both JSS and EM are faves in big part for me because they are both quite R&B influenced and can throw down a song with such soul, it's unreal. Really looking forward to seeing EMB perform in Cali in July.....now darn it if only JSSB had a show booked that same weekend, my musical world would be complete.

Thank you so much, Deb! My goodness you, Kim all of you are so very kind!
YES I hear the R&B in Eric's voice, wicked indeed! I just get a kick out of people who do not look like they can belt out...Teenie Christina Aguilera is an example. She is the tiniest thing, but boy can that gal sing! I will check out their forum, thanks.
I am busy with my novel right now, but later or tomorrow I will check out the links you sent me and if I have questions I will definitely ask. Like, "what is electric drill"? Is that a sound effect or a tool? *snort* Seriously, I haven't a clue what that is. Thanks again, my dear! Lorrie

I took a break from writing and got online per Deb's advice. I am in my bed clothes in front of my living room floor length mirror dancing with no inhibitions to "Alive and Kicking" and Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little boy." Okay, I have to state this...
OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS, WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN ALL THESE YEARS? ERIC IS FIERCE AND THE GUY SHREDDING GUITAR WITH HIS TEETH, WICKED AS HELL!!!
Thank you for this, Deb! What a treat! I will watch the rest tomorrow, my 50 yr old legs hurt from trying to dance like I’m 25.
Have a great evening, all!

Have to say Deb I knew virtually nothing about Eric Martin other than hearing you mention him and seeing him with JSS on some of his DVDs (but only joking around together and having fun, not performing) but I shall be taking a closer look at his work now too!

Thanks you two, puts a huge smile on my face everytime I can turn a new fan on to JSS and/or EM!
LOL, I may not be able to sing to save my life, but I sure appreciate those who can......and know great pipes when I hear them.

I have a question Deb.
How can Eric be 50 this year when he looks 17? !!!
He and Jeff should work together on anti ageing advice and products. With the pair of them as the evidence of the efficacy they should make a killing!!!

I know eh?! Very hard to believe Eric is pushing 50 and Jeff in his 40s! Neither look it.
Love this pic that Maria (you rock) took at the Scrap Metal show about a year and a half ago........
More pics and videos from that show in this thread.......LOL, got the warm fuzzies again, just reading it.

I echo that sentiment. Without YT I would most assuredly be lost.
Miss Deb, I have tried to listen to some of the vids on Mr. Big and I will definitely visit their forum, but what an amazing talent that GUY is. Notice I did not state "llittle guy." His voice is truly HUGE! And no way he's close to my age, lucky man. I will invest in his music, type I love his voice, that kind of rock/opera-esque sound if I can state that. I am a sucker for rock singers with that strong verbrotto, but I have a long way to go to re-discover some rock musicians. I only re-discovered Iron Maiden after seeing their documentary. WHOA, the lead singer flies the damned plane! Speaking of documentaries, it's a great idea for artists that brings some artists closer to old and new fans.
I have a ways to go, but again thank you for the information. I owe you and Miss 49er Kim. Lorrie
