Just a little taste of the first show from last night in Kerkrade, The Netherlands. Not the best video but at least it's better than nothing! ENJOY!

You see Pam to me those are fantastic videos compared to how mine turned out. On them he can be mostly seen but sounds as if he was gargling with some extremely corrosive substance. The sound is just appauling. Really not worth putting up.

The venue was small, smoke filled (again!!!) and incredibly hot. Theere appeared to be gremlins and Jeff said that there was stuff happening we didnt want or need to know about. Despite this, as always, Jeff put on an amazing performance full of his usual energy and humour when things went wrong. He said he was going to rock harder than he had for a long time and thats what he did. I confess though I missed his usual segment where he does an acoustic medley.

There was banter, particularly with one member of the audience who kept asking for a towel for his wife (I thought that would have been a good swap, lol) but persistence paid off and he did eventually get one!

He performed (Those I can reemember) and not neccessarily in this order

Brothers in Arms, 21st Century, again to be found, ? enchanted garden, Ill be waiting, A snippet of Lady Gagas bad romance (Promised never again, lol!) Just between us, Mysterious, colour my XTC, Warrior, Our song, his finale was stand up and shout! Loved it. There was more interaction with the band tbis time I felt. They seem to be gelling more, They performed an instrumental tribute to peers who had died in the last two years and of course the Talisman stuff was dedicated to Marcel. Jorge really is an amazing guitarist.

Jeff said he was joining us in the bar after and I waited 45 mins but unfortunately I had a 15 minute lonely walk back to my hotel and had to be up at silly O clock to get home today so had to leave before he came out :-( so did not get to speak this time. Once again wished I could stay and follow them to the hext venue.

It was just really the intro to it and he was just fooling around. Started one of his songs then stopped and said something like 25 years we have been doing the same old shit. I sing, then you sing, lets try something different!!! Then they started in on the intro!

I did have a really good time but since going I have totally lost my voice a combination I think of the smoke and the loud singing and cheering. Some people say they are enjoying the peace, lol!

Thanks Carol, you always have something kind to say.

How lucky you were to see the show & how lucky Jeff is to have someone like you cheering him on.

What a nice thing to say!!!
From your lips to God's ears...I could only hope so!

Actually the song speaks deeply to my heart

I have been lost in the garden lately but I really enjoy making things grow

I only speak the truth. I am inspired by how dedicated you are to your garden and the beautiful flowers it produces. You create a haven for wildlife to thrive which is admirable.

My garden is also a sanctuary for wildlife, which I love, but my actual input is much less hands on as I have a lot help with mine.

Yes I am sure yours is a Blissful Garden indeed and what nicer place could there be to be lost in?

Oh, I am just selfish & it feels good!

I feel a deep connection with my plants & nature & it lifts my spirits.

I miss my bird which I had to give away. He's happier now in a home with feathered friends.

Now I just try to have a lil sanctuary where birds can come & enjoy some fresh water on a hot day.
Just something I can do to nmake there lives a little sweeter.

I emptired the water out one day & got interrupted so I didn't fill it.

A bird came along looking into the empty basin & looking at me & looking back at the empty basin...sayin

Hey, Wheres the water...""

So cute
