New Video Released for "Stay," Click Here For Link

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share the homemade video for "Stay" from Saturday's performance in Charlotte. Unfortunately Spike Jonze was tied up so I had to make do with my friend shooting from my Flip Cam. But thanks to the magic of B roll, it looks a little more interesting, I hope.

Saturday is the last day of my Kickstarter program. If you are still interested in pledging for a preorder of the CD, visit here:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jer ... ttle-thing

Thanks everyone.

"Stay" is really good. Huge chorus, well done as I have said everywhere.

Also funny that the video was recorded where I was really trashed seeing Frontiers in Charlotte awhile back.

Request a spin of Jeremey's song Stay..on the radio

Postby tater1977 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 12:21 am

ClassX Radio in the Cincinnati OH market has added "Stay" to their rotation as of this afternoon.

ClassX is an independent terrestrial and internet radio station broadcasting on several frequencies in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky markets. It's playlist is full of the kind of bands that are still making great melodic rock and roll music, and I'm honored to have a seat at the table with them. ClassX was recently voted "Best Radio Station in Cincinnati" by the readers of CityBeat Magazine, so there's real people on the ground there tuning in and making things happen!

The rotation and charts of ClassX are based heavily on listener request, so feel free to make a request for "Stay" at http://www.classxradio.com/request.php and help the tune climb up the charts.

You can listen to ClassX at http://www.classxradio.com/index.php or if you are in the Cincinnati area you can make a request directly to the studio at (513) 201-8891.

Listeners in the area can tune into ClassX at the following stations:

WMWX, 88.9 FM, Miamitown, OH
WKCX, 89.1 FM, Crittenden, KY
WYNS, 89.3 FM, Waynesville, OH

Hey Brandon, my full name is Jeremey Frederick Hunsicker. As a performer I'm credited as Jeremey Frederick, as a writer and player on the CD, it's Jeremey Frederick Hunsicker.

I released original music always (since 1997, I just don't do it that often) as Jeremey Frederick because I thought it was more media friendly than "Jeremey Hunsicker," lol, and when I wanted to write new material for a new CD, I didn't want it to be seen as "the Journey tribute guy's record," because honestly guys like Kevin Chalfant and Hugo already do a pretty good job of releasing music like that. "Stay" is a midtempo AOR tune but it's not going to be mistaken for Journey, I wouldn't think. Plus there's a pretty good variety of styles on the CD, from jazz to more danceable pop to straight up AOR ballads like "This Is Your Life," so I didn't want to get pigeon holed with that expectation. It's been a little confusing, LOL, but I like to be consistant, haha.....

Dude, it works. A little Trial By Fire in your vocals at the end though for sure though. (not a bad thing) But yes, not to be mistaken for a Journey song at all. Make sure you play that next time at Rams Head.

Did you do the $10 pledge?

I did too, and I hope everyone will. As we will do for Jim when he releases something.

Jeremey's song and album is worth investing in. If not only to promote one of our own, but to support independents, like Jeremey.

LOL, thanks everyone.

I am $100 away tonight from sharing a private streaming link to all 11 of the demos of the CD for my backers, so all of this praise for "Stay" makes me nervous that the rest of the CD won't live up to the hype, haha.

Anyway, it really makes me feel good to know that you guys like the tune, and I hope I get to share more with you all in the near future.

$3000 done! Can't wait to hear it tomorrow. Who else ordered the Christmas song besides me? I might as well get a great Christmas gift for myself. Jeremey, you're working yourself to death for this, I hope it all works out by Saturday.

WBDJ7 interview with Jeremey

After finding success in a Journey tribute band, a Roanoke musician is singing his own tune

http://www.wdbj7.com/news/wdbj7-jeremey ... 6907.story

Jeremey Frederick launched a Kickstarter campaign to finance his new CD

Joe Dashiell

Reporter

10:17 p.m. EDT, October 12, 2011
ROANOKE, Va.— He's built a successful career as the frontman for a tribute band. Now Jeremey Hunsicker is working on his own music. And he's hoping supporters in western Virginia will help him reach a new audience.

Jeremey Frederick onstage, he's the lead singer of the Journey tribute band Frontiers. "I've been doing Frontiers for nine years now," Hunsicker told News7 in an interview. "I've been doing it full time for the past four years."

He almost joined Journey four years ago, but with his wife Sabrina and sons Theron and Quinn, he's happy with his life in Roanoke, and looking forward to a new record of his own.

"As a tribute band singer is it frustrating sometimes not to get what I do out there," Frederick asked. "The answer is yes, because you know being in Frontiers has been a small portion of what I do."

Hunsicker recently turned to Kickstarter.com, a website that helps raise money for creative projects, and he's halfway to his goal.
He's hoping friends and supporters will put him over the top, and allow him to produce his own CD.

"I'm an entertainer. I like to sing and make people happy," Hunsicker told us, "but I'm also a musician and a creative person and that's something that you just can't not do."

Click here for a link to Hunsicker's Kickstarter.com project.
