I have never seen this before... JC had his own band before Journey and was on American Bandstand?! Didn't know that.

You are probably talking about The Babies, 70s band with John Waite on lead.

No, I think he did have his own band for a while. At least a single out in the mid 70's.

A cover of a classic Moody Blues song..My dad played on this record.. This is Jonathan Cain pre- Journey.. it was recorded up at Bearsville in Woodstock after they got signed by Albert Grossman (Dylan and Joplin's manager).. They were also on American Bandstand in '76..

Jonathan Cain - Keyboards, Lead vocals

Tommy "Mugs" Cain - Drums / Percussion

Gary Richwine - Bass, BG vocals

Jimmy Arnold - Guitars, BG vocals
On missing Steve Perry .. "His intuition. His sensibility. He had a certain panache and style that I clicked with. And there will always be that chemistry that we had. It was the most success that I've ever been associated with." Jon Cain 2011
