Only Steve can pronounce "myself" as "my-SAY-alf"
Yup....that's him alright. 8)

Listen to how he sings "alone" at the 28 second mark....chills.

I found this very interesting: Published today....hmmm....to gain traction for a new CD, perhaps....?

Settle down everyone, Perry is not going to do anything ever again It's just another demo thats almost 20 years old and i will not get into the (He's getting ready to sing again stage) ever again. If he had cancer or throat issues thats one thing, but to be retired and DONE is another. He more than likely sees lets say Adam Lambert, who is probably one of the top 10, if not top 5 artists struggle to sell records in todays' rough music world. Perry sees this, and knows it as well. There is no meaning behind this demo other than it is what it is. OUT:

Wow...that sounds amazing!

I just did some digging on Dick Wagner, who is credited with Steve on this song. He's a guitarist and songwriter who has worked with tons of people from the 1960's on, including Alice Cooper and KISS.

This song was an unreleased demo that he and Steve did in '93.

Wagner released his own CD in 2008 called "Home at Last" and it has a version of this song on it, but it's performed by another singer :x . You can hear it on iTunes.

Yet another rare gem from the Perry vault! :D

lyrically this sounds like a message to the fans...

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

OMG it's gone and I didn't get to hear it. Wonder why they removed it? I am just sick because I didn't get to hear it.

Can anyone share it with me, please?

Thanx in advance!

Lora or Cyndy can correct me on this, but this demo is more recent than 1993.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I love it. Yeah...He sucks.    :P :P :P :P

Sounds good to me! You know what pisses me off? I mean Melody and other great tunes were kept off of FTLOSM at first. Did the record companies even hear that song? It amazes me the beautiful things he sings and those bozos could not recognize the beauty of them. I really love how Journey Force gave the SPIN members the chance to buy those extra tracts. Back then they were exclusive to club members. I still have mine, anyone else have theirs? :D

I loved Fan Asylum. :D

Dick Wagner said he composed and produced it for FTLOSM. Unless Perry re-recorded it later, I can't imagine it's any newer than 1993.

Thanks for sharing it.

I don't think this is 1993 if you compare his vocals in that time to when I heard it was sang, which was around 2007 or 2008. That, being after vocal surgery, which many say he had. He treads into vocal areas that he hadn't in many years in this demo.

All of my info is based on hearsay, though, so I could be completely wrong.
