… Eels was a part of former Journey singer Steve Perry's comeback to music. He sang sporadically with the group during 2015, singing on the group's own songs as well as some Journey hits. Last year he released "Traces," his first new music in 22 years, but Everett isn't taking any credit for that. "I wish I could, but I can't. I am still amazed that he put something out. I never thought it would happen. I was like, 'This guy is never gonna finish something.' I’m very proud of him, that he actually did it. It takes balls to disappear for that many years and actually come back. that's a big thing."
Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

Yeah it was awesome.
And a very small correction, it was 2014.
And sure I am hoping that was not the last time we here the "Voice" sing live.

and why do I start sentences with "And"?
I am sure that would get me detention with the grammar :D police.

And we were taught not to do that in English class, but I still do sometimes.
