Best Band in America?

Postby Aaron » Wed Oct 30, 2019 2:37 pm

Knocking the dust off the entry way. WTF? No one down with NR? sigh ... ok

They we're the best band in America for a few years, I called it. I love them.

The current best band in the World and America is Greta Van Fleet. If NR come into it I'll be the first to call it!

Tried to like GVF because so many talk them up. Don't understand the love. But maybe I should go on a message board for them and declare they are no longer the Best Band In America..........

You could, but America wouldn't GAF. They are the best band in America for now, until they get knocked off. :)

I have to be honest. Greta Van Fleet have taken the reins as the best band in the USA. That is all.

UGH.

Too each their own. I'd rather listen to one of the NR guys vomiting than to GVF.

It's hard for me to say who would be the best band in America right now. With hardly any live shows going on it's hard to judge. Going by new material, I was not impressed with the new Night Ranger album. Sad to say there's no new Rush album coming out. Styx new CD has gotten better as I've listened to it more, but I don't know how the new guy on guitar is or how he changes the dramatics of the group. Journey doesn't have a new album out and they keep changing the lineup here a lot lately so it's hard to judge them. The new Dennis Deyoung album is very good in his band sounds good. I can't wait to see them in concert again. A lot of my other favorite bands haven't released anything so I don't know what's going on in the music world right now!

I was in but now we're out. We were at Monsters on the Mountain. The wife noticed they were detuned, I didn't (which is a shock). Afterwards we reviewed and agreed a half step down sucked.

We seen Greta Van Fleet earlier last year and they were epic. Great songs, and great in every position. No detuning for singer that is over the moon in range.

I'm sorry to say but Greta Van Fleet is THE BEST BAND IN AMERICA TODAY

carry on.

I saw them last month in Louisville. I'll be in the front row at NR in Nashville, IN. I'll let you know the winner. :-)

GVF's new music is a wankfest. They're out.

NR has a good show if you can't keep their guitar player off your wife. They're out as well.

Journey is detuned and struggling with no solid CD's for decades. They're out

Voyage, is the best live show I've seen in decades. Hugo was a good or better than Perry on his own material. And Hugo is in his 60's, he's awesome. Given the new record from Voyage, Inception, that Mac hasn't reviewed, I'll do it for him. It is the best cd I've heard in at least two decades. Is it perfect, no. Does it rock as hard as I would like, no. Does it have hooks, YES. Can you play it front to back with skips, yes! Voyage is the best band in America at the moment.

No they are not. When all you do is imitate another artist or band, you're not the best. You're just a good tribute. Yeah, Inception has some good stuff. But it's just one big rip off of a theory that's already been played out. That doesn't take away from their talent. It just differentiates it.
