Forget Arnel, leave him on the bus with his kid. Neal and Jon should be writing songs with this guy when they are doing shows together in September. You ain't going to see too many ballads out of Blades.

Oh come on, Jack Blades is the only one that provides energy? PLEASE. As for Journey, I will not deny Journey has more hits and have a more successful career. But I am sorry Steve Perry was a big part of Journey and their revolving singers are a joke. Their newer cds have been terrible…without Steve Perry there goes the good song writing. He was the member of the band that provided the checks and balances. The new singers are puppets. Now, I say what I say without seeing Journey in concert since Augeri. I did not say Night Ranger would steal the show…Journey’s strong catalog of hits will prevent that from totally happening, but Night Ranger is an extremely strong live band…they bring it every night. And I guaranty you that there will be MANY people walking away going WOW Night Ranger was damn good and some of those people will say they blew Journey off the stage. Will it totally happen? No. Because a majority of the people will be paying to see Journey…but Night Ranger will definitely keep Journey on their toes. I too like Journey…..well Steve Perry Journey.

Partially true. The circumstances and actions are a joke. But Steve Augeri, JSS and Arnel are 'no joke' talentwise. Arguably, Steve Augeri had the weakest voice. But he is as big apart of Journey's current status as Perry was for their previous status.

Obviously that is your opinion. And while they may not have been as consistant as "classic" Journey albums, there are many shining moments IMO.

Night Ranger is an extremely strong live band…they bring it every night.

Another point I agree with. At the same time I will add that Journey is equally strong live. It is not just their "hits" that make the show, they are extremely tight as well (like Night Ranger).

And I guaranty you that there will be MANY people walking away going WOW Night Ranger was damn good and some of those people will say they blew Journey off the stage.

I think the people who say NR blew Journey off the stage will likely be NR fans who were there to see NR. Honestly, I think this is a great package and I think the audience will be happy all the way around.

Night Ranger will definitely keep Journey on their toes.

I hope so. I love it when it gets competitive on stage. Makes for great shows. I think Journey did the same for Def Leppard a couple years ago.

I too like Journey…..well Steve Perry Journey.

It is a shame you haven't been able to enjoy the band without Perry, but I respect that...
