so is joel out of night ranger now or is he finishing up current dates, anyone know, was hoping to see him next weekend

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

According to the press release from David Coverdale, Joel Hoekstra is finishing up tour dates with Night Ranger before departing.

It would be really great to see Jeff back in the band. Hopefully time has mended some of the issues that lead to his departure.

Of course the fans would like to see Jeff back. Unfortunately the split wasn't a very nice one.

As for Joel, he is still currently in the band. I imagine soon as Night Ranger has a new guitarist comfortable with playing the songs he will depart. Chances are it will be before the Japanese dates.

Saw Night Ranger on friday Joel has now departed. Replacement was Keri Kelli.

Kerri did well playing the guitar, but did not have much stage presence. In his defense, I think that would get better as he became more a part of the group.
