Unless they are selling his image or any old memorabilia, Styx is not giving money to Dennis.
What Dennis gets is royalties from selling product...which is from the label. And, he gets ASCAP money for live performances, which is paid for by the venues. None of this comes out of Styx' pocket or causes them to earn less money.
As for how much money, at this point in life, I doubt they care. I'm sure ANY of them could retire very comfortably and not have to worry about any income for the rest of their lives. IMO, they do it because they want to, and they are still having fun.
