UK magazine record collector has a 3 page full colour article on Survivor this month including interviews with Jim Peterik(I know) and Jimi Jamison it talks about the history of the band and is infact pretty good.
Not sure if you guys in the USA can get this but if you can then it is a must :D

Does the magazine have a website?

I'd love to read the article, but don't know if the magazine is available to me here in the states.

Very enjoyable article with some nice pictures. Excellent background on the pre-history of the bandmembers. A few errors though. The author states that Chris Grove and Randy Riley were in the band for the 1985 tour but I'm pretty sure that's wrong as I saw them that year and Jim Peterik and Stephen Ellis were still there(unless they were subbed for a few dates) The writer also has the band touring in 1988 for Too Hot To Sleep with Peter John Vettesse and Mickey Curry, who played on the album. They did play on Too Hot..., that's true. But I'm pretty sure that what little touring ensued after that record's release was done by a lineup of Peterik, Sullivan, Jamison, Bill Syniar(bass) and Kyle Woodring(drums) This last info was provided to me in 1993 by Survivor management.
