Hypocrisy

Hey Folks. This is my first time on the forum. Please hear me out. I like all of you am frustrated with the band. The whole thing makes no sense. Having said all of that, I want to get something off of my chest. A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit with both Frankie and Jimi and length. They are two completely different people. If you want to sit and talk music and life, Frankie is your guy. If you want to drink a six pack and share some laughs, then Jimi is your guy. It's a matter of taste. I happen to prefer the former. I always have felt that Frankie took Survivor to heart. I've always felt Jimi was a bit aloof. That's not a criticism, it's just an observation. I also have a problem with certain people who run other websites coming on here and ripping on Frankie. I don't see any other reps from the Survivor website ripping on Jimi. It's not necessary. Jimi is a great talent. Let's move on. I would prefer we don't here any more ripping on Frankie. Frankie himself is a class act. He is indeed a Survivor. In closing I titled this thread hypocrisy. I did so because we all at times in our lives have said and done things we wish we had not done. I noticed during week that certain people from another website complained about Frankies comments. I will only say this. Go back to Andrews 1999 interview with Jimi about his Empires record. Jimi wasn't exactly all class when it came to to talking about and Dave Bicklers voice. Does anyone remember? My point is no one is right and no one is wrong here. Let's wish Survivor the best in the futue and Jimi the best with his new night club.

Thanks Frankie...good post...

Just kidding...actually I remember that interview very well and actually just re-read it a while back. Of course I chuckled having heard JJ's voice lately and knowing that on Dave's worst day he was better than that...

But you are right and the I think the fact is there are Survivor fans and there are JJ fans. There are Dave fans as well, but that doesn't keep those people from being Survivor fans as well. I will say that anyone that was tooling around all into JJ's fake Survivor and actually called that Survivor is NOT a REAL Survivor fan and I think that is showing hard now.

I love Dave, like JJ and I can't wait to see the NEW Survivor as well. I just love the music.

Rock On!

I typed out a long explanation of some things related to the past with Jimi and Frank but then I changed my mind about posting it.

I will just say that as someone who has heard some details of the past straight from one of the horse's mouths that they have both made some huge mistakes with the way they dealed with each other.

Well, post it then, Journey/Survivor. Some of us are trying to make sense of what the hell went on with a lineup that appeared to be doing a good job. Or pm me. I have a list for you, too.
