thanks for posting! I still think it would be cool if they can get FMS in the movie or anything for that matter.

I think it will happen. I remember Frankie implying back in 1999 that he had spoken to Stallone about Rocky 6. We shall see.

So it sounds like the band should re-record FMS and/or Reach for Rocky so the movie will again help smooth the vocalist transition...

I agree. It could be big exposure for their "new sound". We will see. I hear Stallone is very loyal to people he has worked with in the past.

I remember Frankie mentioning that, many many moons ago.

I'd rather hear the Jamo version get in, but if it's between that and out I say have McCauley overdub it post-haste. That song is too perfect for the movie to let this be f-ed up.

Btw Verse 2, listen to Jamison actually growl the vocal "I say 'No pain, no gain'" while Frankie plays a kick ass little riff...amazing.

I'd rather hear Daves version of FMS in the movie, just like it better. I haven't heard Robin's version yet so can't tell you if I like it or not.

I don't like the demo as much at all. Less guitars, less Droubay big drums.... and that growl is pretty intense in that little part.

To be honest, all the Reach album version does is make me 'Reach' for the FMS Demos...Dave's version is kick #$% while I think Andrew put it best a few weeks ago...Jimi's is a 'lackluster'.....

I did however come across a much better copy of the FMS demos and I'm delighted by that....That album should have been released...it's twice the ablum Reach is IMHO.....

where did you find the kick butt version of fire? I would like to get an uniterrupted version sung by Dave. Mine has a gap in it?

Slander,

I don't know how bad your version is, but I found a much better version that what I had on Guitars101. You just download it. I've also put some other Survivor concerts on there myself, so check it out. It's quick and easy, and if you have anything by all means please share.
