Well, like the journey Board, there should be a thread specifically for sharing material. This could be it...

Boot is also on MRX now for those that can't be bothered getting it elsewhere :)

And the verdict folks? Not sure myself....doesn't sound quite right at all...

Yes. For me it's much like Jeff Scott Soto for Journey. Great singer, just odd match with the material.

Robin McCauley is a great talent. The MSG albums with him on vocals are brilliant.

If the dude recording this would stop singing, I could tell a little more about it.....it doesn't sound quite right, but it's not bad.

Hey Greggie, that's not the guy recording it. It's Frankie Sullivan singing background vocals. Terrible isn't it. Sorry to be picking on Frank but it's bad, admit it!!

Robin sounds best on "Caught in the Game" It suits him as it's closest to metal of any of their songs. It is an enjoyable boot, just weird. Sounds like the band was having fun.

I have given it a few listens, I really don't care for it. Seems too far removes from their other two singers. I would really have to think about going to see them. But he may end up blowing me away JSS did in Journey, when I saw them live. And I really went in wanting to hate JSS-ERIC
