OT: Survivor as Rumba? HA!

I take latin dancing lessons on Wednesday nights. I love it. It's been about four months for me, but our instructor plays the same damn songs every week.

So this week I burned her two cds with songs that I took from lists of cha chas, mambos, merengues and rumbas (Dancing with the Stars).

As I was adding to the rumba CD, I noticed that "One More Chance" from Reach has a rumba beat so I added it. As the FIRST song on the CD no less!

HA! Wouldn't it be a laugh if I turned people onto Survivor unknowingly because it's just such a damn pretty song to slow dance to? LOL

She played some of the songs tonight, but skipped over Survivor. Maybe next week. My other songs were a TOTAL hit!

Hee hee hee!

I just got back from Wednesday night dance class and SHE PLAYED "One More Chance" for the Rumba! WHEE! It's such a beautiful song. The Rumba goes "sl-ow, quick quick, sl-ow, quick quick, sl-ow" so you can imagine that beat with that song, and the light drums and mellow vocals.

Hopefully I turned some of my fellow classmates onto new-skool Survivor in the process. My CDs have been a hit so far!
