I'd be more interested in knowing what happened to his site.

More Jimi Jamison Dates

Postby CharlieDru7 » Thu Apr 26, 2007 8:59 am

I just read online these two dates:

7/04 - US Naval Base - Guam - 4th of July Celebration
6/16 - Franklin Covey Field - Salt Lake City, UT
I googled Franklin Covey Field, they list this date as Summer Rock Fest.

Sheryl:

I found this site on MySpace that has a listing of Jamo's and Joe Lynn Turner dates
in the blog area. I think this is the concertshows lady. They used to have a lot of Jamo's dates but the site's changed.

www.myspace.com/kristellnj

Has anyone ever heard of them?
I wrote them a message but haven't got an answer yet.
I've seen dates posted there before it shows up on Pollstar. I wonder if they are friends with Jamo.
I hope he gets to the Nevada area soon. Can't wait to see the new band.

Another Date

I just checked that MySpace site again and found that
Jamo is playing tommorrow somewhere in Mobile, Alabama
for some golf benefit for children.

It seems our boy is getting busy..................
But no match for the Survivor European Tour.

Why are we finding out about some of these dates too late?
Is anyone going to the Alabama Show?

ROFL I can't remember if I posted it here or not, but my cross country road trip was a bit of a comedy of errors by the end of it... Tornados and Jimi rained out in Texas, that storm moved across the south and up through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, up through Tennessee and Virginia, and that's the way we went. We drove under a thundercloud and in torrential downpours the WHOLE way to Virginia where we stopped in Roanoke RIGHT around the time the gunman was shooting up that school. The next day we drove to New Jersey to drop of my friend and hit all the flooded towns. My friend's apartment was FLOODED in Hoboken! I dropped them off and headed home and literally got SNOWED in in Scranton. You couldn't even see the road by the time I pulled off and I drive AWD and I'm Canadian and I never pull off the road for nothing. LOL

I'd pull off for Jimi, of course. But I don't need to tell you that. I'm such a broken record about my honey I'm even starting to annoy the crap out of myself. HAHAHA

Hey, totally OT, but this weekend I ended up driving my dad all over hell's half acre and I've discovered a latent love for oldskool country music. Go figure. Don Williams has temporarily usurped Jimi as my latest favourite singer. LOLOL

What, you don't like Don Williams? Give "Lord, I Hope This Day is Good" a spin, or if you are feeling particularly hee-haw, try "Good Ole Boys Like Me".

Hell, it's no Jackie Don't Go, but then again, what is?

Is this the same Don Williams who sang "I believe in love"?

YES! That's the guy! His voice is like butter. I don't care that he's oldskool country. I love it.

My dad was asking me if I liked Johnny Cash and I said I didn't, because his voice was too gravelly and not very melodious.

Turns out I'm a big fan of melody. Cough cough. She says to the members of MELODICrock.com. Ahem.
