Yes, that is great for Survivor and it's fans. :|

This is just as moronic as Jeffgate in the Journey camp. Boston gone forever, strife in Night Ranger, career suicide by Journey and Survivor...my four favorite bands, all torn to shreds in the past six months. Unreal.

7 i completely agree with you that Survivor should do a much better job of keeping their fans in the loop. That being said I don't see the postponement of the Germany tour a great tradgedy. I just don't see it. I for one think it's a great thing to have Frankie producing Mecca's new album.

For all German Fans it is tragic that the tour is cancelled (not postphoned). Last time the Band visited Germany was in 2001. So we have different point of views. But that is not the problem. It is great, of course, that Frankie is producing the Mecca II Album. But why in hell no official information???

I can't agree more sometimes Survivor is more secretive than the Bush Administration.

I'd say more like the Clinton one than bush.  at least Dub-yah lets you know when he's gonna bomb ya n doesn't make up a war n kill innocents to get the law off his ass for lying under oath amongst other dasderly deeds!

but, yes Survivor can seem that way but, thats the way it is. be glad there doing more shows and appearences than in 2006,05 04 03 02 01 00...they didnt tour a bunch with Jamo for various reasons..this band is great live and they wanna play but its gotta be worth there while I don't think they need too or should take ANY old offer out there to work. They have no trouble doing that.

mar tay I'm huge fan. I've seen the band many times and even had the pleasure of being able to do a sit down interview with Frankie. What a great guy. There is no question they are doing more shows. They certainly seemed high energy when I saw them last month. I for one am excited Frankie is involved in a great project like the MECCA 2 album. It is a testament to his abilities. Frankie seems like a very personal fellow and I respect that. I can't wait until a new record. I have to ask you Mar tay what did you think of Robin and Frankie's Business As Usual record?

All the European tourdates are still on the Survivor homepage and no words about it. That's disappointing... :(
