The fall will see the new Jimi Jamison cd released . Read the update on the website even Dave Bickler is involved .. This sounds like it is going to be quite a cd.

yawn. Let's not start this again. Let's just celebrate the fact that JJ and JP are working together. Let's also honor FS and Marc for keeping Survivor going. I can't wait to hear what's next for the band!

No one is asking the band to be rewarded. Just don't know what the purpose is of carrying on in a negative way about them. What's really the point? Like I said it's kind of boring. We've been down that road how many times now? I for one think they could be working on something but hey I've been wrong before. Happy JJ and JP are doing some stuff. It ain't Survivor though!

:D I am very excited about this upcoming cd.. It is also very cool that Dave Bickler is involved as well as a bunch of classic rockers . The heart and soul of Survivor is Jamison & Peterik . Regardless of what anyone says the truth is there.. These guys have wonderful friends and they always make time for their fans .

Well Slander,

Myself and many other would agree that anything with Robin McAuley ain't Survivor either....

A CD with JP, JJ and Dave on it is more Survivor than marc, FS and McSurvivor...

And this hasn't been said before? At length? That was my point. Sorry JJ and JP ain't Survivor either. I would take Bickler and Sullivan over them both.

:D The whole deal for me is this .. Peterik & Jamison give the fans what they want to hear . Bickler was screwed over and I am very excited and happy to see these guys involved in work together . Survivor (name) doesn't have the credibility without these guys . The radio advertising has Bickler & Jamison's voice on the promo's and fans that show up for these shows have no idea who in the hell they are going to hear or see live .
Casual fans probably don't come to these websites and worry about Survivor.

These guys all care about the fans that support them. They keep us updated on projects and put on big shows and showcase their love for what they do . Sullivan doesn't do that publicly. He might be the best guitar player in the world and have ten of millions of dollars stashed away but he is uninspiring.

Life is short and talent is wasted . Projects show growth and inspire people.
Anyone that have said that Jim Peterik wasn't a vital member of Survivor is a idiot .

Who the hell said JP wasn't a vital part of Survivor. Damn I have all of his POL stuff and even some of his not so strong solo stuff. So let's get your facts straight. Secondly I don't rely on music to inspire me. Maybe you have to depend on that. Frankie Sullivan's talents have hardly been wasted. They are being put to work Joe Vana as we speak. Damn bulldog that was one of the most pompous posts I have ever read.

It hasn't been Survivor since JP left the band. Francis can't write anything decent without Jim, but Jim has written some knockout songs in the past ten years, with his co-writing of Kelly Keagy's "I'm Alive" topping them all. FS hasn't come close to writing a memorable hook since the mid 1980's.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I'm just messin' with ya, Slander. That was bait, but it was tongue in cheek. I think a few songs on Reach and the Bickler demos were excellent. Hope you're alright, bud.

Let's get back on focus here guys...this is great news....and the fact that Dave is a part of JJ's CD just says so much...Awesome...

I truly do feel bad for my thoughts on JJ back when I believed all the lies that spewed from FS's mouth...

:D Everyone knows who the bad guy in the band was.. The truth is there .
I really don't think casual fans really care as much as us die-hards do.. It is too bad Frankie owns the name .. Bickler , Peterik & Jamison all have a huge part in the success of this band and without them and the voices there wouldn't be any Survivor.
I don't think fans go to the shows just to hear him either.. It's the songs and the passions behind the performance that make it real.

Yeah music inspires me !

There was no "bad" guy in the band. Family's go there own way. It's part of life. It's a shame you have to try to demonize someone. I hope JP and JJ's album is great. I hope the new album from Survivor is great. Why do we always have to reduce the conversation to something negative?
