Gotta wait and be surprised! Basically, all the rock royalty was in on it -- folks that Jim has written with, people you've seen at World Stage, plus a couple of new friends who were fantastic additions. Basically it was World Stage on steroids. No one else but JP could bring this collection of talents together.

Joe Thomas, the man behind Soundstage brought in people too......he has an amazing phone book and it was a great way I am sure for people who would never ever be on soundstage on their own but collectively would make some sense....remember they have acts like Tom Petty, Sheryl Crow and other monsters up there often, worldwide and current talent....so he would have to make an exception and break the template a bit to air this.....and remember Dennis Deyoung taped a Sounstage (it was fantastic) and it never aired....

Good Luck to all involved!!

My favorite song in the Survivor catalogue. Sullivan's solo is a friggin masterpiece.

Yep, CITG is my favorite Survivor song, and Sullivan kicks ass on that song.

IDHTBTW is another one that ranks high on my list. I love Sullivan's solo on Half Life.

Did Dennis do more than one Soundstage? Our local PBS station aired one with him about 5 years ago. It was during one of the pledge drives and Dennis was in studio promoting the DVD release of the show, as well as a local upcoming gig.

Oh Lord...get over yourself, dude. You're a fucking a suburban restaurant owner and a Frankie Sullivan fawner. Just why couldn't you share this public information with the board? You and Sullivan have some sort of promise in blood? You made a pinky swear didn't you?

Hey guy. How about a little respect on the board. JV's input is valuable. He brings a perspective that most can't bring. What's your problem here? More insults? What a joke.

From Peterik's website:

SOUNDSTAGE-“JIM PETERIK AND WORLD STAGE” will be seen on Public Television Stations Nationwide in the fall as part of Soundstage’s seventh season. Consult your local directories.

------------

I just hope it airs. I know they don't show all of them. It was 3 1/2 hours long also, so I doubt the whole thing will air. Probably only 2 hours.

Kiss my big Greek ass, Dundee. Joe and I have worked this out in PM and I have since apologized. We're cool. Besides, the statute of limitations for punishment/reprimands on this board is 72 hours.

How awesome would it be to see Peterik, Bickler and Jamison all tour together?

I doubt that will happen. But it would be great to see Peterik team up with Bickler much the same way as he has with Jamison as of late. ! :D

I have been sitting here for a month waiting to see if someone was going to report this here.....I'm glad it's finally out there....I think Dave is doing Summer Nights and of course being a part of Tiger....I don't think a tour will happen but it's great to see the ""Real Man of Genius" out there having a Real good time....Dave is a great guy....I can't say anymore but I am thrilled Dave is out there again for this show even if it is a one off.....
