The Album is NOT a Survivior album, but it's pretty good. In fact it's a lot better than Reach.

No I don't but have heard. I'm just tired of all the REACH bashing on the board. When Reach came out everyone sang its praises on the board. Then once JJ and Frankie parted ways it SUDDENLY became a crappy album.

That's in your mind, guy, along with a lot of wreckage.
Reach barely got talked about at all here when it came out and that's still the case. Nor have the few people who've spoken of it here changed their opinion of it.

His influences are on the album! No question. I have no doubt in my mind the FS and JP have the greatest professional respect for each other despite what has happened over the years.

Red I couldn't disagree more on the topic. I remember the build up and the conversation afterward!

Pfff.
Whatever.
Well, who changed their opinion of it since Jamison's ouster? Can you NAME anyone or point out some of that evidence, or aren't you a responsible journalist who just throws noise up on the wall to see what stays?
I DEMAND you back up your holdings with facts or else retract. I DEMAND that you INTERVIEW said flopping posters to give them a chance to qualify their reasonings. I REQUIRE that you hold their feet to the fire, like a down-the-middle journalist and ask if they only changed their opinions of the record out of anger for franky.

I thought it was solid/good if somewhat disapointing then and do now.

Red I just find Empries to be a lot more solid effort than Reach. Reach for the most part if 1. Filler 2. Songs that were done better on FMS. I think it just really showed how Frankie had a hard time adapting and doing much without JP to guide him through the process. It's a weak album.

PERSONALLY, i'd prefer to listen to Empires over Reach. Is that okay RED?

When Jimi Jamison calls a song too pop...you know you have a problem...

Jamison's voice, imo, is second to none in AOR.

However, I do question some of the material he puts that voice to.

Yeah I really enjoyed the live filler on Empries. Yeah superior.

Please! Reach is a solid effort.

Solid enough, but disappointing in hindsight once the 'fog of joy' over a new release being available lifted.

Empires was a far superior album.

Andrew, you were supposed to come back about the sales of REACH. 30k was the unofficial amount the last time I heard. What has your research found out?
