Hey, Survivor has always been an awesome band with great songs but c'mon....comparing them to Journey is ridiculous. Pull over till the ludes wear off...

While I'm no fan of UF football. Sorry Spurrier ruined it for me. You are right on about comparing Survivor to Journey.

Yes, I'll admit comparing Survivor to Journey, is like comparing the qb sneaking wonder TeeBow (yawn) to a REAL quarterback.

Scarab, you missed the joke, bro. Jimi was once referred to as the poor man's Steve Perry. Or maybe it was a straight reversal that Survivor was a poor man's Journey. But it was not meant to be an actual comparison.

Doesn't matter because it grew legs and the rest was history.

Majority opinion became that just about every single show from some point in 2004 until Augeri left was full-on lipsynched

i seen journey in june 2006 in Edinburgh, and there was lots of rumours that augeri was miming cause it was so good. im not sure :?

If it was good, it was a tape. Anyone that had seen him from '05 on, and he was actually singing, the reviews were really bad. I love SA and it's awful that things happened the way they did. I'm looking forward to whatever he puts out in the future.

well you know how I get J28!! I must have missed that "poor mans Journey" comparison in the past because when I read this yesterday I thought "gotta be high or something".

NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!!! Yeah, hes not a "real"QB is he? All he did was go out as a sophomore and win the Heisman, first time ever for College Football. Will be first round if not the first pick in the NFL draft in 2 seasons...Most people say these things because they are jealous....and if you are its OK. I would kill for him to be on my team also if I werent a Gator.

I met Jimi back in 92, I think it was. He was doing the solo tour for Love Comes Down. Sounded great and was totally nice guy. I shook his hand and everything and of course Mrs.ScarabGator was swooning.
