Intresting concert

Postby Abitaman » Thu Oct 16, 2008 10:51 pm

The past few weeks, since moving, I have been listening to all my Survivor "related" cds, dvds. Forgot how much good music is out there by the band and it's various members. Jimi's Target, Cobra, and his various solo cds and solo "Survivor" shows. Peterik's World Stage and solo cd, plus the Pride of Lion's cds.
But last night I was listening to a show that had Butler on vocals from sometime in the 90's. I do not remember the place or year, but what stood out No FRANKIE. This was not Jimi's Survivor. But the annonced a couple songs into the show that Frankie had hurt his hand and was unable to play. So they had some dude filling in for him.
Anyone out there know what happened and how many shows Frankie missed. I am not a big Frankie fan, and thought he would be the lest missed in the band of the 3 (keys, vocals, axe). But after hearing this show, I can say he was missed. Have to give the man a little respect there...

Who's Butler?

I think this may be the one show Frankie missed (that I just found out about on this board a few months ago). This is probably the show they did with Dave Carl. If not, I have no idea who it is.
