oh I have been around, kinda sittin back and watching the show so to speak. I totally think the cd is a hit, I just wasn't so crazy bout the video picture montage's and the pt cruiser at the end....lol...but it's a good song....again, it's the singer, not the song...Jimi has the best pipes out there and for JP to sing so much on that song, well, I just found that odd and for me, took away from the song. I haven't been 'officially' working for Jimi since we lost it all to katrina, tried for bout a year but between trying to get my life back together,build our home and the vultures swarming to get my gig, well,it was time to move on, bad time for Jimi and I both to be honest, he lost his best friend during that period and that was extremely difficult on him...but I will continue to do what I can without having to deal with the fanatics. I work with several other artists' and have learned a very good lesson working with Jimi, you don't associate with the fans, they twist and turn your words, lie about you.do bascially whatever they can to get your gig, they somehow think that is the keys to heaven I guess...lol.

Back to what is important, Jimi and his music, the songs are very well written and I think this will do good for him....hope so.

Whenever I see these shows on tv, rock of love,not that I could see jj doing that one, but the John Rich, make me a country star...I can see Jimi doing something like that...or rock and a hard place, like Luke did...Jimi was MADE for tv with that face. He still has the looks and definitely has the personality for tv, if you have never met him or hung with him, he's really a pretty funny guy.

It is very entertaining to read the posts on here...and sometimes I think to myself, this is more of a slamfest than music board to discuss the artists.

Which to me, the music is what it is all about, not Frankie vs Jimi, when is Survivor getting back together....coz I don't see that ever happening. I think that Jimi is where he shoulda beenn 8 years ago, on his own doing his own thing. I don't know Robin but was actually told by a friend of his the nite he got the gig, before it was public, before I knew anything...that he was a good man and would do well singning the songs. I have a friend who has seen them, she said he's very, very nice and sings well,interacts with the fans and is a good front man, does he sing like Jimi, well, duh, can anyone???

he did have up soundclips but they are now missing for some reason....

I also notice all the youtube songs are down, thank goodness! someone is watching....or listening, either way, that woulda be fine a year after the cd came out, like small portions of the songs but not full length songs!!!!

www.nehrecords.com is a good place if you are in the US. Never had the slightest problem with them.

NEH are the nicest guys in the world. It's the only place I buy from. They get you stuff quick and if you have a few minutes they even talk music with you. NEH is number 1 with me. I've been buying from them for 6 years now.
