Andrew - ETA for Jamison/Peterik Interview?

Postby Idiosyncrasy » Sat Nov 15, 2008 3:26 am

Hey Andrew,

Any idea when we'll get to read the Jamison and Peterik interviews? I'd be interested to hear Jim's take on the songs (I know Jimi's are in the cd liner).

Here's hoping that this is one of the album reviews we'll see next week! (no pressure or anything! lol! ;-)

Absolutely adore the album. Fave tracks - Crossroads Moment (loved that one from the demo onward!), Can't Look Away, Behind the Music (awesome! Glad I waited until I got the full album to hear it), Love the World Away (aka Didn't Know It Was Love - part 2), and That's Why I Sing (more infectious than a leper!)

Personally, I could have just about lived without She's Nothing To Me and Till the Morning Comes (great songs, but I keep wondering what some of the unreleased ones were like). I don't mind When Rock Was King - it is what it is and I suppose it's inclusion is justified by the guest vocalists - only one complaint: not enough Bickler! I'm with Joe on that one - if you're getting the two Survivor vocalists together for the first time ever that ought to be a worth a duet, surely?!

Would love to hear Streets of Heaven (Jap Bonus Track) - has anyone got it?

They've GOTTA do a proper AOR follow-up to this album!

- Danny.

(And yes, I'd love to hear a Peterik/Bickler album too!)

This is a no brainer. Why haven't they done this in the past? Have their been ill feelings? Just curious.

Behind The Music and Love The World Away are two of my favorites on the album. But She's Nothing To Me is also one of my favorites.

Yeah, I'd love to hear Streets Of Heaven too. But I don't know how many people there are willing to turn around and buy the Japanese release after already having bought the European release. It would be great to hear it though!

And yeah, it sure would have been great if Bickler could have gotten a couple of more lines in When Rock Was King.
#1 on my wish list would be a full Survivor reunion that includes Peterik and Jamison or Bickler or even both Jamison and Bickler.

But if it's not gonna happen, then Peterik really should do and album with Bickler.

Not that I'm aware of. I would assume that it was probably Peterik's idea to have Bickler perform on When Rock Was King?
