I Can't Hold Back: Paul Bart Mall Cop

Postby Tito » Tue Jan 27, 2009 1:49 am

I saw the #1 movie in America over the weekend, Paul Bart Mall Cop and I Can't Hold Back is played a couple of times in the movie (basically in it's entirety the first time). I would say it is the theme song of the movie. I hope this gives Survivor more exposure.

Thanks for mentioning that, I wasn't aware of that. I'm a big Kevin James fan from his show "The King Of Queens."

Actually, it's Paul Blart, not Bart. And it's Dave Bickler, not Bichler. Just kidding with you.

That's cool! I also heard they played Take it on the run (REO) and Runaway (Bon Jovi) as well. 8) What I don't appreciate is that they seem to use our fav tunes in comedies.

SIDE NOTE....

I can remember when I was a kid, at first, evertime I heard Runaway (Bon Jovi) come on the radio I tought it was Jackie Don't Go (they have a similiar intro)...and remember this is 1983 and I had not heard those songs 500 times! Plus the local radio station played both songs at the time...

I've corrected the Bickler thing.

Just watched the DVD tonight. Survivor was the big ballad for the movie. Eddie Money, Kiss and Edgar Winter Group got some love. Even Barry Manilow got some airtime. Fun movie and great Soundtrack.
