Why does that either bug or amuse you so much, Joe Vana?

Seeing Jim there enjoying himself rockin' with his guitar, I think if Survivor were allowed to release records in the past with both JP and FS on the guitars, they would have been a Supergroup and had a longevity.

Neat looking guitars. But, I don't think I'd buy one unless I had more money than god. The way I understand it, they are existing instruments painted... not fully custom instruments. Now, find a collaborator to create some fully custom axes AND paint them this way.. and you got a big-time winner! Cool video though.

There is a link to a "fully custom" page.,,I didn't follow it so I am not sure what it has to offer though.

I could be wrong, but from what I can tell, all that means is you can design a custom paint job and select the guitar you want them to paint instead of choosing from say, the pre-selected Eye of the Tiger themed Telecaster that they offer... it's still not a custom, hand-made guitar made to your order... only the aesthetics are. That's how I'm understanding it at least...

I'm not technical enough to tell if the guitars sound good or cultured enough to know if the guitars look good. But, why would you get Jim Peterik to endorse your guitars. I'm not knocking him personally or anything, but the guy isn't really thought of as a guitarist. He's thought of as a songwriter first and probably a keyboard player a distant second. Even the few people/fans who know he plays guitar, I'm sure don't think of him as one of the greats. So, to me it's a waste of an endorsement deal/advertising dollars. Jim Peterik endorsement will not move one guitar. They should've got a name guitar player if they wanted to have an impact endorsement. Get a Frankie Sullivan instead (if he's available). Even a Joel Hoekstra or Mike Aquino would've had more umph.

I don't think he is "endorsing" them, I think he is invested in them. I think this is part his company.
