Well, Frankie didn't even notice that "Reach" was a mellower album than previous Survivor albums. I remember Andrew asked him about the mellower tone of the album, and Frankie seemed a bit confused, as if he had no idea that the album had a lot of ballads on it. It was odd. On the other hand, a year or two later, he insisted that "Re-Entry" would rock much harder than "Reach" did, so maybe he went back and listened to "Reach" again after the interview and realized that there were, in fact, a lot of ballads on it.
Anyway, I think it's a moot point. I don't think "Re-Entry" will ever get released. But maybe we'll end up hearing it the same way we heard the FMS demos.
