Dates Ramping Up

Pollstar is showing more Survivor dates being added. Some even overseas...but dates nevertheless.

Nice to see them active.

You sure don't see active and Survivor in the same sentence often!

Well put Eyeof! The are apparently playing in Chile and Colombia. There lack of activity has worn me out. Seriously. All the endless discussions we have had over the years. And for what? It has been fun getting to know everyone, even though there has been much disagreement. Survivor's apathy however I believe deserves our apathy. I can't believe I'm saying that, but I for one am tired of it.

At this point, I honestly don't expect anything from them. IF they ever release something new, great, I'll see it like an unexpected gift. But I'm willing to accept that "Too Hot To Sleep" was the last classic Survivor album, and "Reach" was an okay attempt at an epilogue or reunion, or whatever you want to call it.
As for touring-- the only time I ever saw Survivor was when it was Jim Jamison's Survivor. The "real" Survivor never came to New York, as far as I know. They were scheduled to come here a few years ago, when Reach came out, but they didn't sell a single ticket, and so they cancelled. So I can't say I miss seeing them in concert.

Tour in Germany

Postby IngoK » Wed Mar 16, 2011 7:33 am

Looks like they are doing a small tour in Germany. Dates so far:

April 27 in Augsburg in the "Spectrum"
April 30 in Hamburg in the "Alsterdorfer Sporthalle"
May 2 in Osnabrueck in the "Ballroom"

Probably more will come soon. Tickets via Eventim and Ticketmaster.
