I wonder if the new music is now going to go back and be re-recorded with the new lead singer... Robin was lead singer for 5 years and we didn't hear one new song with him on lead vocals...sad.

It is sad! This is why I wish those who hated Robin as lead singer would have reserved judgment. It wasn't fair to say he didn't fit without actually hearing him on a new album.

i don't hate Robin, I just never felt he fit in. Maybe it was all the tattoos! lol idk. Not saying he's a bad guy or bad singer, just my opinion, he didn't fit in.

There is no way Jamison would comeback ! He is in hot demand right now as a international artist. Survivor never tours enough or does any promotion. Sullivan should make peace with Jamison and Peterik. You need to have something exciting happen like the way Foreigner built their band back up.

JJ is hot right now? While I think JJ is an amazing talent, I'm in the minority hoping he does not return as I want the band to return to its roots.

Now Abitaman....I think you should maybe consider Kevin Chalfant and be so reluctant to the idea of Survivor giving him a try!

How's the Great Smokey Mountains? My family and I used to go there every summer for vacation, but haven't been in years!

I thought I read somewhere that FS didn't care for Kevin. Who knows, so much has been said over the years.

Well we got JJ. And while I hope they've patched things up, this reunion seems more out of convenience then anything else. I hope I am wrong. I really do.

That has been the problem with Frankie too much has been said and nothing has been done. Frankie needs a strong leader, I do not know if JJ fits the bill for that. But it is good to have him back. Hopefully we will not have to wait several years for a new cd. JJ has done more since the five years he has been out of the band, than Frankie has done the past 20 years with the band.

It's sad that Peterik isn't back.

I think that a lot of us would have been equally as happy if Peterik were back as we are that Jamison is back. And that's coming from someone who's favorite singer of all time is Jimi Jamison.

It's great that Jimi is back, without a doubt! But it would have been the best news in years for me if Peterik were also back.

Agreed. Although I like the DB raw Survivor, I agree that JP needs to return. JP might even play the guitar again along Frankie. I would like two guitarists atleast for a more raw sound, harder edge.

While we're dreaming, I always thought it would be awesome if Survivor could have Jamison, Peterik, AND Bickler back to record a double studio album. One CD having the raw, Bickler led Survivor sound, and another CD with Jamison singing with the Vital Signs type of music. That would be freakin' awesome!
