Christmas Is Here

Postby Slander » Sat Dec 03, 2011 6:18 am

I've been listening to Christmas is here over and over since Survivor posted it on the website. I do believe this is recorded in 2002. Anyway does anyone else think this sounds like The Eagles with Henley on vocals. Am I crazy. I think Eagles every time I hear the song.

Do you know how I might be able to hear the song? I don't think that I have ever heard it?

Go to the Survivor website. You can hear it there on the front page.

I prefer to hear it on my mp3 player. Very professionally done I must say.

Out of curiosity from the song, who is "God's chosen family" in the lyrics and why is God only watching them?

If I recall correctly, I believe that Jamison did a Christmas song on his own several years back? I think it might have been called "Keep It Evergreen," or something like that?

Anyone know how I might be able to hear that one on the internet?

I'm not a big fan of Christmas songs in general. But since it's Jamison singing it, I'd like to get to hear it.

Jimi has another Christmas song on his page:

My favorite is Survivor's "Christmas is here" - a very good song!

I think I like "Keep It Evergreen" slightly more than "Christmas Is Here." I have to listen to both of them again to say for sure... it's been a while since I've heard them. I haven't heard Jimi's new one yet. Maybe I'll check it out later today.

I dunno, but I have no whatsoever interest in hearing our guys sing songs about their Christmas decorations. But I get it that's a good market so ok.

More ballsy stuff out, now!

Well let's not forget most of this Christmas stuff we are talking about is well over a decade old...so its Survivor!

I think we have pretty much heard all the new material from this band we are ever going to hear...however, keep that album art coming Frankie! Awesome!

Yes, that's awesome...I will probably be there the next month, so I was hoping it was a little longer!

Crue fans the best....the rest!

Can you imagine what Nikki Sixx would say about FS's ramblings?
