I feel bad saying this, but I don't think this is very good. I thought this was going to be a little different. I didn't realize he was doing mostly covers. Maybe it's just me. I wish JP the best of luck with this project though.

Actually, after reading Andrew's preview on the front page it may not be that bad. There are only a few covers. The one song they played at World Stage, "Unconditional Surrender" was very good. There still may be hope.

....but this one big piece of shit !!!........I only listened to 2 Survivor tracks they covered and I couldnt agree with my hands to click on the other songs.......I can't believe someone would totally destroy a self-written classic like EYE OF THE........I can't simply ignore these 2 songs and try the others as these two disqualify this album.......

This is different for sure, but I like it. To my ears, it's very reminiscent of nu-soul music, such as Maxwell.

Ohhhhh !.....thank you so much to both of you !......I've been posting here once in a while and have been reading melodicrock since it's beginnings or close but have been reading the Survivor board alittle bit more recently...best way to know what's going on anyway :-)

.......those Survivor fans are or were very sensitive and im not one to use soft and tender words to give my opinion on something and i guess Frankie and friends didnt like it back then but hey !......life is not always about roses and birds..........after all...they told us that FIRE MAKES STEEL right ?....hahahaha !
