It's kind of crazy, even some of the original die-hard apologist have are beyond faith...it's sad really...

Before this line of 'goofing' off...this board went almost two weeks without a single post, so it's hard to say much about anyone posting!

yeah, I'm amazed this board is as active as it is, considering that it's about a band that (a) was never a headlining act even in its prime, and (b) hasn't done anything in years, and (c) has a spokesperson/guitarist who tries his hardest to alienate fans.
Meanwhile, poor Bryan Adams can't get anybody to post on his board.

Hard to Argue Blood....BUT...

I will say FS has been thrown for a bit of a loop many times....and Hell, we were working with our close friend on the new Survivor album and he DIED....lost files...years of work....it was not easy....

As far as some of the Broken Promises, I can't defend or accuse on that one, but I will say this band has been pretty complicated...Jamo is on time number 3 being back...Dave 2 times...

Rough Road....no excuses though.....JV

hey Joe ,i don't do this for a living but i write songs as a hobby and i hate it when something happens and i lose even a small part of a track im working on.....so i can imagine the frustration of losing all that work you are talking about !.......it must really suck !....extremely !

by the way I'm not against Frankie.....not at all.....i appreciate his past work so much !!!!.......I just dont like the way things have been handled in the last 20 years and the constant bullshit i've read:-)

and regarding Bryan Adams.....he's playing the BELL CENTER in MONTREAL next week and im going......I was such a big fan of his work in the 80's and never got to see him live.......so finally......

I get it!!!

But talent is talent....and he has it...I deal sometimes with with wannabee's, and people with NO talent who THINK they are amazing playing in their bar band....and then there are guys like FS with more talent than 5 guys need and he just does things his own way....and that is completely his choice...and I respect that....but it is hard when a guy with so much talent doesn't just do a few more albums and show all tthat talent God has givin him....

I respect him either way...and always will...and he is a fiercely loyal friend to boot....

very glad to hear about Frankie being a loyal friend......like you said.....TALENT IS TALENT !......and he's an amazing talent !.......and sometimes TALENT is not only about technique and speed and all that.....it's about being able to play with your soul (i know i sound so corny) but TECHNIQUE ALONE doesnt make you a great musician........and that's where BAR BANDS and GUITAR MASTURBATORS just dont get it ! :-)

It is hard to rationalize things sometimes when talking with some guy who plays in a bar every once in a while....does some crappy recording at home and thinks he is David Foster!!! Or another guy who plays some guitar and thinks he is Steve Lukather because he can play THE NOTES of some his solos...man, it is WAY more than that....but there is no talking to these guys....

Music is emotion...vibe....technique and TALENT...and you can't buy talent....can't dream it up....FS is "one of the guys"....an amazing player...just wish WE heard MORE of it, I can never get enough of what he plays....

I feel sorry for Andrew sometimes....he has to deal with alot of hack wannabees with their self promotion and their trying to compare themselves with the real players...and here we are begging the band we love to give us more stuff!!!
